Museums for relaxing

Relieving stress is easier than some may think. Most people just need silence and if you live in a big city silence is not easy to come by. But in a museum it is, for me, the larger the better. Some might think that museums would be packed, but i have noticed in most museums, only certain parts of the museum is. People aren't as big fans of pottery as they are of paintings, the silence in statue rooms and pottery rooms is beautiful in a museum. Aside from being surrounded by so much antiquity, it feels religious, the room temperature is perfect and any people who do wander in that area in my experience always whisper. So if you're like me and you love art, or you just desperately need a quiet spot with a good view, any museum with a less frequented section is the place to go. If you're lucky you may even get a room with a bench and can enjoy a good nap during your stay!

If you need a silent place to relax with a beautiful view and learn something in the process, visit a museum.
